Research
Resources are provided with necessary support across MSU and Sparrow to initiate and carry out such projects. Direct mentorship will be provided to fellows for their research projects. Statistical analysis support, including electronic support in the form of software programs, is available. Mentors will assess nature, length and relevance of the research project and serve as an advisor. Fellows may start a project as principal investigator or choose to contribute to an ongoing research effort. Mentors will provide open, scientific, and constructive criticism of chosen tools and methodology used by Fellows in their research project.
Regular research meetings and updates with mentors are planned for the appraisal of the research project and progress. Fellows are encouraged to complete their original scholarly project during their fellowship tenure.
