Sparrow Health System, Michigan State University Colleges of Human and Osteopathic Medicine, and Ingham Regional Medical Center have agreed through their partnership under Graduate Medical Education, Inc. (GMEI) to use the same residency management software citywide to facilitate graduate medical education training opportunities and better manage the required documentation for accreditation and Medicare/Medicaid reporting. New Innovations is a tool that assists medical schools, hospitals and private practices in the area of medical education and department administration to unify data into a centralized data warehouse and to complete tasks, historically performed using multiple, incompatible methods, through one common interface.
